TRO provides computer training to needy students
Eighty two students completed computer training conducted by the Social Economic Development Organization (SEDO), a sub-unit of the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), and were awarded with certificates at an event held during the weekend in Trincomalee Vipulananda College in Anpuvallipuram, a suburb located about 2 km off the east port town.

The guest of honour was Mr.K.Thurairatnasingham, Trincomalee district parliamentarian and other guests were Mr.S.Singarayar, Additional Government Agent, and Mr.K.Mathavarajah, Trincomalee District Director of the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO).
Mr.Puratchi, head of the Trincomalee Tamil Students Organization and TRO Project Director Mr.V.Kalaivarnan also participated in the event.
Students from rural areas in the Trincomalee town and its suburbs were selected and given computer training under this scheme, SEDO sources said.
