Temple Trust Fund to finance housing construction in Ampara

Tamils Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO) will construct 100 houses in Ampara District, with funding from the London Kanaka Thurka Amman Temple (LKTAT). Mr. S. Kurunalingam President, LKTAT recently visited the eastern provinces to observe and assess the rehabilitation needs of the people. During this visit he agreed in principal to provide financial assistance to uplift the people of Kanchirankudda, Kanakipuram and Alikambai.

After returning to London Mr. Kurunalingam advised TRO that LKTAT trust fund had agreed to finance the construction of 100 houses in Kanchirankudda. This is part of the first phase of the rehabilitation programme submitted to the temple trust committee.
