NRC Country Director discusses future collaboration with TRO
Country Director of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Mr Joern Christensen and NRC Programme Manager, Mr Gordon Logan met with TRO staff in Kilinochchi on Wednesday 30.06.2004 to discuss existing housing projects, and avenues for further collaboration between NRC and TRO.
TRO Executive Director, Mr KP Regi, and Planning Director Mr L Christie participated in the meeting. Staff from the Tamil Diaspora who are working with TRO in Kilinochchi also discussed various projects with the NRC delegates.
Following the meeting, Mr Christensen and Mr Logan were taken to visit the TRO Education ad Skills Development Centre, which is due to open next month, and a housing development project. They expressed admiration at the high quality of workmanship demonstrated by these projects.
